The Team

Chelsea Harper, LMFT | Co-Owner
...
Chelsea obtained a Masters of Science in Marriage in Family Therapy from Capella University. Since graduating in 2014, Chelsea has provided services working from an attachment viewpoint by striving to provide nurturing and consistent care for children, adolescents, and adults.
Chelsea believes the time in a therapy session is best spent learning and practicing new behaviors in the safety of the session: experiences in sessions help build muscle memory so that the individual will find it easier to use the skill outside of the session. Sessions are spent not only talking but also practicing communication, social skills, parenting skills, etc.
Jennifer Piazza, LPC | Co-Owner
...
Jennifer Piazza earned her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. She also completed an MBA program through LeTourneau University. Since graduating, she has provided support and guidance to individuals navigating through life’s challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep issues, trauma, and childhood abuse. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.
One of Jennifer's professional goals is to help build a calm environment and strong therapeutic relationship conducive to meaningful change. Treatment of mental health issues is best done with the “whole person” in mind. This means that discussions will also include physical health, social well-being, medications, and spiritual health. Counseling is also an opportunity to learn about yourself and the world around you. She hopes to teach you the tools to become your ideal self.

April Schodowski - LPCA
April earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. With over 15 years of experience as an art educator and a current role on the behavior support team in schools, April brings a creative, compassionate lens to her work with children, teens, adults, and families.
April has a special interest in supporting individuals who feel like they don’t quite fit the mold—whether navigating neurodivergence, identity questions, or big life transitions. She is committed to creating an affirming space for all clients, including those from diverse neurotypes, family systems, and identities.
Sessions with April may include talk therapy, art, metaphor, and playful or expressive techniques tailored to the client’s unique needs. She believes that therapy can be a space for fun, exploration, healing, and practicing new ways of showing up in the world.
In her work with families, April is especially passionate about helping parents and children understand one another more clearly and communicate with greater confidence and connection. April offers appointments during school breaks, after school hours, and on weekends.
